Senior Commercial Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Design and refine end-to-end sales workflows, including lead generation, qualification criteria, and pipeline management
• Act as the primary owner of Salesforce, ensuring data integrity, building custom dashboards, and automating workflows
• Collaborate with leadership to establish sales territories, quotas, and commission structures aligned with company KPIs
• Partner with Legal and Finance to manage the commercial contract lifecycle, including MOUs, MSAs, and SOWs
• Support revenue forecasting by working with Finance to predict monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue
• Partner with Marketing to track ROI and lead conversion rates across various channels
• Evaluate and implement commercial software across the tech stack, including Marketing Automation and ERP systems
• Translate complex genomic sales data into actionable, executive-level business intelligence reports

Requirements

• BS in Business, Finance, or Science (MBA is a significant plus)
• 12+ years of professional business experience
• 6+ years of experience in Commercial, Sales, or Business Operations
• Industry experience within Life Sciences, Biotech, or MedTech
• Power-user proficiency in Salesforce and advanced Excel skills (modeling and pivot tables)
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the capital equipment and consumables sales model within the NGS sequencing landscape
• Experience with Monday.com
• Ability to independently prepare written legal and commercial documents
