Senior Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial performance for major infrastructure and building projects to ensure contract compliance and cost control
• Provide strategic commercial guidance and specialized assistance to the Project Director
• Interface with client representatives and senior stakeholders to present commercial updates and recommendations
• Assist in contract negotiations, amendments, and modifications to secure favorable terms
• Manage project commercial execution, including cost forecasts, financial projections, and schedule impacts
• Identify scope changes and variations to secure appropriate change orders
• Advise management on minimizing contractual risks and managing potential claims
• Oversee the review of contractual claims, notices, variation orders, and engineer instructions
• Maintain comprehensive commercial records, including claims logs and insurance documentation
• Facilitate contract close-out activities and ensure all obligations are fulfilled

Requirements

• Saudi National
• Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field
• Chartered professional qualification (e.g., CIOB or RICS)
• Minimum 20 years of overall experience in major infrastructure and building projects
• Minimum 10 years of commercial management experience on large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims management, and change management
• Extensive experience in project financial management and cost control
• Proficiency in commercial and reporting tools
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• GCC project experience
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments
• Proven ability to manage complex commercial issues and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
