Senior Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial delivery across complex, multi-workstream programmes
• Provide strategic oversight from procurement through to contract close-out
• Oversee contract execution, supplier performance, and risk mitigation
• Ensure compliance with NEC3/4, FIDIC, and UK regulatory frameworks
• Lead cost planning, estimating, and final cost plan presentation
• Manage post-contract cost variances, valuations, and change control
• Act as a trusted interface with clients, consultants, and delivery teams
• Support the work-winning team by reviewing risks in tender packs

Requirements

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Law
• Chartership in a related subject (or working towards it)
• Extensive experience in nuclear, water, environment, defence, rail, or highways
• Expert knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
• Proven experience managing teams and commercial portfolios
• Strong financial modelling and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management
• Ability to work on-site at least 3 days per week in London or Manchester
• Right to work in the UK and ability to complete BPSS
