Senior Commercial Loan Closing Representative

Responsibilities

• Support the performance of less experienced staff and improve overall team effectiveness
• Provide feedback and ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Loan Closing
• Evaluate and upload data into systems of record to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Perform complex legal activities for loan documentation, including third-party and internal legal group documents
• Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to team members
• Work collaboratively with Credit, Sales, and Legal departments to ensure accuracy with negotiated terms and compliance standards
• Interact with internal customers and the immediate Commercial Loan Closing team

Requirements

• 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
• Ability to leverage AI platforms (such as Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot) for routine tasks like summarizing information and analyzing data
• Strong critical thinking skills to interpret AI outputs and validate insights
• Knowledge of bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Commitment to responsible AI use, including awareness of ethical considerations and data privacy
