Senior Commercial HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
• Execute preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning
• Interpret engineering drawings regarding system layout, location, and operation
• Advise owners and representatives on inspections and necessary corrective actions
• Suggest additional beneficial services to customers
• Maintain safety standards and submit required paperwork to the Service Coordinator
• Work flexibly with overtime and weekends as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training
• 5+ years of experience as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
• Electrical knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computers (Smartphone, iPad)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including extreme weather and elevated heights

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification
• HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer credentials
