Senior Commercial Counsel

Responsibilities

• Advise Sales, Business Development, Finance, and cross-functional teams across EMEA on commercial, regulatory, privacy, and technology matters
• Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial and technology agreements, including master service agreements
• Identify, research, and advise on commercial contracting, data security, privacy, and technology-related issues
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across EMEA and globally that may impact the business
• Develop and deliver training on contract processes, compliance, and risk management
• Continually improve legal processes and ways of working to support global scaling and local compliance

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in Germany or France with strong academic credentials
• Minimum 5 years' experience in-house at a technology company or within the technology practice of a leading law firm
• Significant experience drafting, reviewing, structuring, and negotiating commercial agreements governed by English and U.S. law
• Fluency in English required; fluency in German or French required based on office location
• Experience supporting technology, digital media, advertising technology, and/or privacy matters preferred
