Responsibilities
- Review, redline, and negotiate outbound commercial agreements, procurement agreements, partnership agreements, and bespoke business development deals
- Act as the primary legal contact for Sales to facilitate the entire deal process from A to Z
- Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks for efficiency
- Implement and iterate on the company’s AI legal ops strategy
- Monitor data privacy, AI, and IP regulations to provide actionable guidance
Requirements
- 6-10 years of legal experience
- At least 2 years negotiating B2B SaaS contracts at a global in-house data-centric SaaS organization
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
- Skilled in the transactional aspects of GDPR
- Ability to manage the sales contract review process autonomously
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying legal concepts to non-lawyers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in-house at a high-growth AI/data-centric products company
