Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial and contract management activities across large-scale projects.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize value and achieve project objectives.
• Review contractor and client change requests and manage all relevant documentation, including EIs and VOs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage claims, variations, and disputes.
• Lead the development and management of project budgets and implement robust cost control measures.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and cost analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Represent the project in complex commercial discussions and negotiations with clients, contractors, and consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum of 15 years of commercial management experience across multiple construction sectors.
• Extensive knowledge of cost and commercial management principles, procurement, and contract management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects within budget and schedule.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial tools.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (MRICS) is highly preferred.
• Experience in PMCM (Project Management Construction Management) projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
