Senior Collections Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to collection analysts to ensure workload is effectively managed and targets are achieved
• Act as the first point of escalation for complex customer accounts and disputes
• Monitor team performance against KPIs, including collections targets, call activity, aging, and DSO metrics
• Lead onboarding and training for new hires and develop ongoing training programs to enhance technical and soft skills
• Manage a portfolio of complex or high-risk accounts, including strategic and escalated customers
• Partner with Billing, Cash Applications, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve account issues quickly
• Utilize financial analysis tools to examine customers for potential risk and calculate creditworthiness
• Prepare reports on current findings and assist in the recommendation of policies to upper management

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of collections experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or training role
• Proficiency in JD Edwards, Outlook, and MS Excel
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience in a high-volume, B2B collections environment
