Senior COGS Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reporting.
• Perform detailed COGS analysis, including SKU-level validations and variance analysis versus Plan, Forecast, and Prior Year.
• Prepare and maintain recurring COGS reports and commentaries to support business performance reviews.
• Analyze cost drivers and provide insights into gross margin and profitability performance.
• Support Price, Volume, and Mix analysis and assist in the consolidation of business insights.
• Review inventory, manufacturing, logistics, tariffs, and other COGS-related components to ensure accuracy.
• Execute and document SOX controls and support internal and external audit requests.
• Partner with Costing, Inventory, and Commercial Finance teams to investigate and resolve reporting variances.
• Support activities related to Annual Standard Cost Setting and ongoing standard cost maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and automation within COGS reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, supply chain accounting, audit, or related finance functions.
• Knowledge of Cost Accounting, Standard Costing, and COGS reporting.
• Experience performing financial analysis, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
• Understanding of SOX controls, compliance requirements, and audit support activities.
• Experience working with SAP and ERP systems.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
