Senior CNC Programmer & Machinist, 5-Axis

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in CNC manufacturing process development and multi-axis programming
• Lead complex CNC programming and manufacturing process assignments independently
• Develop and implement standards, frameworks, and technical guidelines for CNC programming, tooling, and fixturing
• Define and govern setup documentation standards within ProShop ERP
• Drive quality management through advanced metrology and statistical process controls
• Translate customer requirements and technical specifications into manufacturing processes
• Mentor and develop technical talent through systematic knowledge sharing
• Create innovative CNC programming techniques and machining methodologies

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 14+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's with 12+ years, or Bachelor's with 7+ years, or Master's with 5+ years
• Proven ability to scale manufacturing from prototype to full production
• Expert-level proficiency in multi-axis CNC machine operation and programming
• Expert-level understanding of GD&T, advanced metrology, and dimensional quality management
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment requiring standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Must meet ITAR requirements (US Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or protected individual)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in contract manufacturing within regulated environments (AS9100, ISO 13485)
• Expert-level experience in Hypermill and/or ESPRIT
• Deep knowledge of Haas, Okuma, and/or Heidenhain CNC controllers
• External engagement in technical communities such as publications or conference presentations
