Senior Cloud Support Engineer - Security

Responsibilities

• Manage customer issues from initial triage through resolution and follow-up
• Leverage AI assistants and diagnostics to accelerate triage and root-cause analysis
• Provide technical analysis and guidance via email, web, and phone
• Use AI to summarize logs, generate hypotheses, and draft responses
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to resolve systemic issues
• Document solutions in knowledge bases and report bugs to engineering teams
• Support holiday/weekend rotations and on-call requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a Technical Support environment or customer-facing technical role
• Experience with major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Database systems and SQL queries
• Experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)
• Experience troubleshooting data sharing, secure views, and data replication
• Experience with web security, networking (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS), and firewalls
• Experience with Authentication and Authorization protocols (SAML SSO, OAuth, MFA)
• Knowledge of encryption, PKI, X.509 certificates, and SSL/TLS
• Experience with Identity providers like Okta, PingFederate, or Azure AD

Preferred Qualifications

• Public cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Scripting/coding experience in Python, Java, .Net, NodeJS, or R
• Security-related certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, etc.)
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting ODBC or JDBC drivers
