Senior Cloud Security Engineer/Architect

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and operate security controls across cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Deploy and manage cloud security technologies including IAM, network security, CSPM, CWPP, and CIEM
• Support secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation efforts
• Identify, assess, and remediate cloud security risks and misconfigurations
• Contribute to cloud security architecture, reference designs, and technical standards
• Participate in the Architecture Review Board and security design reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and share operational best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in information security with a focus on cloud security engineering
• Demonstrated experience securing at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with IAM, directory services, network/firewall technologies, and workload protection
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and application fundamentals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to cloud security architecture or reference designs
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, or ISO 27001
• Multi-cloud experience
• Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Security, CISSP, or CCSP
