Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement security controls and frameworks for PlayStation Network cloud infrastructure
• Lead initiatives to mature security tools and operational processes to detect security gaps
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to define system requirements and implement cloud-based security applications
• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for auditing, security protection, and change implementation across multi-cloud environments
• Drive tools that improve platform availability using automated protection mechanisms
• Research and introduce new technologies and collaborate on solution implementation
• Guide surrounding engineers to make better design choices for platform protection
• Automate security processes by writing code to integrate DevSecOps processes and tools into code builds and deployments

Requirements

• Business level proficiency in Japanese and English
• Security engineering experience implementing authentication/authorization workflows and security operations on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• High analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience implementing workflows using Python or Go

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certifications such as CISSP or CCSP
• Extensive experience as a security engineer or architect on multi-cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience designing and implementing IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Comprehensive experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or similar (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes)
• Experience building end-to-end enterprise-level systems
• Proven track record in coaching and talent development
