Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Strengthen security of AWS and GCP environments by building and monitoring cloud security controls
• Lead and support security investigations to prevent incidents
• Develop automations and tools using Python, IaC, and Kubernetes integrations
• Contribute to PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, ISO-27701, and ISO-27718 compliance efforts
• Design and maintain secure infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Partner with Engineering, Cloud Platform, FinOps, and GRC teams to embed security into the development lifecycle
• Elevate cloud security posture through documentation and best practices

Requirements

• Solid experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on skills with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Ability to automate tasks using Python or other scripting languages
• Understanding of security frameworks like PCI-DSS or ISO-27001
• Experience leading or participating in security incident investigations
• Familiarity with Linux administration and Kubernetes concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
• Experience working in PCI-DSS or ISO-certified environments
• Exposure to high-scale, mission-critical systems
• Experience securing Kubernetes clusters in production
