Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work within the Information Security team to ensure cloud-based assets are kept secure
• Prioritize mitigation activities in collaboration with various stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and company-wide teams to maintain security and compliance programs
• Provide recommendations to improve the security capabilities of the company’s platform

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in a similar role
• Expertise in Cloud Security Posture Management (AWS/Azure)
• Experience in vulnerability management including risk classification and remediation
• Experience building and maintaining Security Operations Center (SOC) activities
• Strong skills in incident detection and response
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, CSPM, CASB, CWPP, and IPS/IDS
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD pipeline security

Preferred Qualifications

• Information Security Certifications such as CEH, Security+, or OSCP
