Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and operate enterprise-grade multi-cloud network infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Design secure, high-performance hybrid and multi-cloud architectures connecting global cloud regions to on-premises infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Implement network security measures, including Zero Trust segmentation and cloud-native firewall controls, to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and DORA.
• Drive operational excellence through automated tasks, incident management, and SRE enablement to reduce mean time to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SRE, DevOps, and Product to define requirements and influence cloud network strategy.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for critical network incidents, providing mentorship to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Multi-Cloud Network Architecture and Hybrid Connectivity (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Deep understanding of Network Security, compliance frameworks, and encrypted interconnects (MACsec/IPsec).
• Proven ability to lead technical direction and manage complex, multi-year infrastructure assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional or expert-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer).
• Traditional networking certifications such as CCNP Enterprise/Security or JNCIA/JNCIS.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking (EKS, AKS, GKE), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and CNI plugins (Calico, Cilium).
• Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture tooling and SD-WAN/SASE solutions.
