Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS, ensuring high availability and security.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision cloud and Kubernetes resources.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and core Kubernetes objects for cloud-native workloads.
• Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Argo CD, TeamCity, and AWS services.
• Manage container image repositories including Amazon ECR and JFrog Artifactory.
• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog for Kubernetes and AI/LLM workloads.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a strong Platform Engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in platform engineering delivering large-scale technology solutions.
• Extensive experience with Amazon EKS and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, TeamCity, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes autoscaling and optimization tools like Karpenter or KEDA.
• Experience managing AI/LLM workloads within cloud-native environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
