Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and support WWF’s Azure infrastructure, including provisioning subscriptions, resources, and roles
• Ensure stability, resiliency, and protection of all cloud-based systems
• Develop and execute system backup strategies
• Troubleshoot network connectivity across Azure resources, VNETs, sites, and tenants
• Administer Azure virtual machines including Windows domain controllers, IIS, and SQL servers
• Manage DNS services within Azure and Cloudflare
• Develop and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery playbooks
• Serve as an escalation point for Azure, Entra ID, RBAC, and Microsoft 365 issues
• Perform system patching and security updates

Requirements

• Degree in IT or related field or 8+ years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience managing highly available Azure production systems
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Windows/Linux servers
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Graph API for automation
• Experience with Windows domains and Active Directory
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and load balancers
• Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Palo Alto firewalls is a plus
