Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures
• Provision cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Implement automated CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for performance and cost optimization
• Manage cloud security, IAM policies, and compliance controls
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional development and security teams
• Document architectures, configurations, and procedures
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers and third-party vendors

Requirements

• Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM)
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancing)
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and IAM
• Ability to use monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or ELK stack
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• AWS certification
