About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage cloud services and lead cloud migration efforts
- Provide deep Operating System architecture and administration for Windows and Linux
- Support existing deployments and re-architecture initiatives
- Lead cloud recommendations and develop best practices for automation and adoption
- Determine ecosystem security features to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with customer technical teams to architect solutions and resolve migration issues
- Maintain hardware and software version control and periodic compilation schedules
- Contribute to both development and support tasks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with AWS and Azure services
- 5+ years of experience in software programming
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure design and support
- Relevant Cloud certifications in both AWS and Azure
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP)
- Experience with Linux and Windows VM administration and command-line tools
- Experience with GitLab pipeline creation and management
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
