Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure solutions
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD
• Manage containerized environments including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization projects
• Implement cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and costs
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for cloud platforms
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Development, and Infrastructure teams
• Document technical standards and operating procedures

Requirements

• Solid experience in Microsoft Azure and enterprise cloud architecture
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Knowledge of cloud networking, high availability, disaster recovery, and load balancing
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk)
• Understanding of cloud security (IAM/RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud governance
• Experience in multi-cloud enterprise environments
