Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud services and infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments while implementing security best practices
• Leverage Azure data services including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel
• Write and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI
• Configure network security groups, application gateways, and other network controls
• Manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and database services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ additional years of IT experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or development
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Docker
• Experience with IaC tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP
• Experience automating workflows using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or JSON
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of FIPS-199, NIST SP 800-53, and DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate
