Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support Cloud Architects in designing enterprise-grade Azure environments utilizing IaaS and PaaS services.
• Drive a "Code-First" mentality by developing and maintaining infrastructure via Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Design and implement secure Hub-and-Spoke network topologies, managing VPN gateways, Azure Firewall, and Private Link.
• Lead complex, multi-phase migrations from on-premises data centers to Azure.
• Ensure all deployments align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
• Automate repetitive tasks and complex deployments using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, or REST APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years focused specifically on Azure Architecture.
• 2+ years of experience using Terraform (preferred) or Bicep/ARM, including managing state files and modularizing code.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts including VNet peering, UDRs, NSGs, and global traffic management.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation and administrative tasks.
• Proven track record of migrating enterprise workloads from bare-metal, Hyper-V, or VMware to Azure.
• Experience implementing Azure Policy, RBAC, and Microsoft Entra ID security principles.
• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps.
• Experience with Azure Cost Management (FinOps) and observability tools like Grafana Alloy, Log Analytics, or KQL.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-400, or CKA.
