About the role
Responsibilities
- Support Cloud Architects in designing enterprise-grade Azure environments utilizing IaaS and PaaS services.
- Drive a "Code-First" mentality by developing and maintaining infrastructure via Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Design and implement secure Hub-and-Spoke network topologies, managing VPN gateways, Azure Firewall, and Private Link.
- Lead complex, multi-phase migrations from on-premises data centers to Azure.
- Ensure all deployments align with the Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
- Automate repetitive tasks and complex deployments using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, or REST APIs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years focused specifically on Azure Architecture.
- 2+ years of experience using Terraform (preferred) or Bicep/ARM, including managing state files and modularizing code.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts including VNet peering, UDRs, NSGs, and global traffic management.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation and administrative tasks.
- Proven track record of migrating enterprise workloads from bare-metal, Hyper-V, or VMware to Azure.
- Experience implementing Azure Policy, RBAC, and Microsoft Entra ID security principles.
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps.
- Experience with Azure Cost Management (FinOps) and observability tools like Grafana Alloy, Log Analytics, or KQL.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-400, or CKA.
