About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of cloud-native FinOps platform services, including APIs, microservices, and AI-driven workflows.
  • Design and build scalable backend services and APIs to support cost analytics and optimization automation.
  • Develop and integrate agentic AI capabilities to orchestrate optimization actions across cloud environments.
  • Own engineering decisions regarding architecture patterns, service design, containerization, and technical debt.
  • Partner with Product Management and FinOps stakeholders to align technical solutions with the product roadmap.
  • Lead the deployment of applications using modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
  • Mentor engineers and promote excellence through code reviews and architectural guidance.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in software engineering and application development for enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Proven experience developing scalable, API-first applications and microservices architectures.
  • Strong programming proficiency in C# / .NET, JavaScript (React), and Python.
  • Demonstrated experience with REST, JSON, and OpenAPI standards.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like GitHub and Ansible.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FinOps practices, cloud cost optimization, or financial governance platforms.
  • FinOps Foundation Certification (Practitioner or Professional).
  • Experience designing agentic AI or LLM-based orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure services such as API Management, Azure Functions, and App Services.
  • Understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, and security best practices.
