Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build platforms, systems, and infrastructure using coding expertise
• Develop, direct, and implement reliable, secured, and cost-effective cloud solutions
• Participate in cross-functional teams to establish cloud operational governance frameworks
• Assist other teams with platform services and routine service requests
• Guide the team through solving complex infrastructure challenges

Requirements

• 8+ years of Software Engineering experience with 3–5+ years in Cloud engineering
• Expertise in Linux, security, networking, containerization, and cloud design patterns
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Extensive experience with AWS (IAM, EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECS), Networking, Security, and CI/CD
• Deep understanding of container orchestration fundamentals and architecture
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python
• Experience implementing security best practices, IAM policies, and VPC settings
• Experience with observability solutions
• Strong troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of observability platforms like Prometheus, InfluxDB, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Splunk
• Experience with Big Data platforms such as AWS EMR, Databricks, Cloudera, or Hortonworks
