Senior Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement Azure-based infrastructure including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components
• Lead the migration of workloads from on-premise environments to the Azure cloud
• Automate server builds and runbooks using PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure runbooks
• Manage and monitor Azure components such as VM instances, Azure SQL Database, AKS, and Azure Functions
• Maintain security-related components including PKI certificates, encryption ciphers, and CIS Benchmark hardening
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to align technology enhancements with business initiatives
• Oversee cost and billing management, capacity planning, and performance optimization for cloud services
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for deployments, systems, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 7+ years of professional experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Extensive experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
• Proficiency in automation tools including PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM templates
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record of migrating workloads from on-premise to Azure
• Familiarity with financial sector regulations, specifically PCI DSS and FDIC

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Developer Associate certification
• Experience with AWS services including CloudWatch, IAM, and API Gateway
• Experience managing migrations from Azure to AWS
