About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific activities for the design, conduct, and reporting of clinical trials within the Electrophysiology division
- Participate in clinical trial design, protocol development, and publication planning
- Prepare clinical study reports, scientific publications, and study-level documents such as informed consent forms and investigator brochures
- Support regulatory submissions and interact with global regulatory agencies to obtain market approval
- Oversee study Steering Committees and Publication Committees consisting of physician Key Opinion Leaders
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs
- Present clinical study results to senior leadership and at investigator meetings
Requirements
- Advanced degree in the sciences, medicine, or a similar discipline
- 4+ years of clinical research work experience post-degree
- Demonstrated scientific writing ability
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize complex assignments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Experience with international medical device regulations and submissions
- Familiarity with international regulatory requirements and Quality Systems standards
- Experience working within a quality system environment
