About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of real-world evidence (RWE), health economics, and digital health studies using EHR, insurance claims, and hospital databases
- Develop and own RWE study protocols and statistical analysis plans (SAPs) aligned with regulatory and reimbursement objectives
- Perform hands-on programming to execute studies using SQL, R, SAS, or Python
- Manage data preparation, cohort construction, and variable derivation across diverse data types
- Lead the development of study reports, regulatory deliverables, conference abstracts, and peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts
- Translate complex analytical results into clear scientific narratives for clinicians, regulators, and internal leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biostatistics, clinical affairs, regulatory affairs, and R&D
Requirements
- Associates Degree
- 4 years of related experience
- Expertise in RWE study design and observational research
- Proficiency in statistical programming and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 6-8 years of experience
- PhD, DrPH, PharmD, or MS in biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field
- Experience designing regulatory-grade clinical studies or RWE studies in the medical device or life sciences industry
- Advanced expertise in SQL, R, SAS, or Python
- Deep understanding of epidemiologic study design and bias mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of the cardiac electrophysiology therapeutic area
