About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and administer clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage study budgets, including development, forecasting, and reviewing monthly reports to ensure financial health.
- Plan and implement data collection and analysis systems to support research protocols.
- Recruit, instruct, and coordinate research subjects and volunteers as required by study objectives.
- Maintain and update all regulatory documentation for IACUC or IRB, including protocols, approvals, and amendments.
- Act as the primary administrative liaison between Principal Investigators, site personnel, and funding organizations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, GCP, GLP, and infection control procedures to promote participant safety.
- Coordinate monitoring and auditing visits and report instances of noncompliance to the PI and institutional compliance office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- US Citizenship is required to work at this government site.
- Knowledge of CFR, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
- Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- 8+ years of experience in clinical research.
- 5+ years of experience in non-profit, research, or healthcare sectors.
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) certification.
