About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and administer clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage study budgets, including development, forecasting, and reviewing monthly reports to ensure financial health.
  • Plan and implement data collection and analysis systems to support research protocols.
  • Recruit, instruct, and coordinate research subjects and volunteers as required by study objectives.
  • Maintain and update all regulatory documentation for IACUC or IRB, including protocols, approvals, and amendments.
  • Act as the primary administrative liaison between Principal Investigators, site personnel, and funding organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GCP, GLP, and infection control procedures to promote participant safety.
  • Coordinate monitoring and auditing visits and report instances of noncompliance to the PI and institutional compliance office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • US Citizenship is required to work at this government site.
  • Knowledge of CFR, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
  • Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in clinical research.
  • 5+ years of experience in non-profit, research, or healthcare sectors.
  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) certification.
