Senior Clinical Fellow in Spinal Surgery

Responsibilities

• Perform complete clinical activities including surgical interventions and inpatient care
• Contribute actively to unit projects
• Supervise and train medical interns through mentorship
• Participate in on-call duties for spinal emergencies in coordination with neurosurgery
• Manage complex clinical situations and short-term complications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams

Requirements

• Federal medical diploma or equivalent recognized by MEBEKO
• FMH title in orthopedic surgery or equivalent recognized by MEBEKO
• Valid or obtainable cantonal practice right in Geneva
• Confirmed experience in orthopedic surgery with autonomy
• Previous exposure to spinal surgery is indispensable
• Ideally experienced in a university environment with high spinal surgery volume
• French language proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken)
• Ability to work day, night, and weekend shifts
