Senior Client Server Software Analyst

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and troubleshoot applications within the payments technology landscape
• Conceive and design new processes and solutions to meet business needs
• Collaborate with internal and external clients, including specialized technicians and business partners
• Develop and implement coding changes for fixes and support routine or ad-hoc data requests
• Provide technical leadership, training, and guidance to team members as a subject matter expert
• Identify emerging issues and advise leadership on complex problem resolution
• Provide on-call support and work with quality assurance and customer support groups to resolve application problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of application programming and analysis experience
• Expert knowledge of application systems analysis and all phases of programming
• Experience in mainframe vCOBOL and CICS
• Knowledge of Mainframe JCL, PROCS, and ISPF
• Experience with CVS change management tools
• Knowledge of scheduling packages such as CA7 or $Universe
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the payments industry, specifically credit and debit card processing
• Experience with Unix/AIX, C, C++, and Shell scripting
