Senior Client Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking

Responsibilities

• Manage a commercial banking portfolio by providing integrated financial solutions, including credit, lending, and deposits.
• Identify new prospects in target markets, develop sales pipelines, and conduct qualifying sales calls.
• Perform detailed financial statement analysis and manage credit needs for deals of moderate to high complexity.
• Complete credit applications with support from a Client Service Associate.
• Drive profitable growth by targeting clients with credit authorizations between $5MM to $25MM and annual sales between $15MM to $75MM.
• Maintain a customer-focused culture to deepen existing relationships and leverage broader bank systems.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, economics, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 5 years of demonstrated success in a business development role, specifically in new client acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian commercial banking marketplace and key local industries.
• Proven skills in financial statement analysis and credit management.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is considered an asset.
