About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of approximately 300 corporate clients trading via the EBO platform
- Provide daily operational and trading assistance to ensure clients use Ebury as their main platform for international payments and FX
- Resolve client issues promptly by liaising and mediating between multiple internal departments
- Identify new commercial opportunities within existing accounts, such as new currency requirements or upcoming client needs
- Manage live currency trade bookings, banking information, and high-value payments with extreme accuracy
- Proactively identify potential client issues regarding payment dates and banking data to prevent disruptions
Requirements
- Strong interest in client servicing and a desire to deliver best-in-class customer experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with complete fluency in English
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with significant workload peaks
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills to manage tight deadlines and multiple enquiry types
- High level of attention to detail, especially when dealing with exchange rates and high-volume payments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Commercial awareness and a "head for numbers" regarding exchange rates and profit margins
- Knowledge of FX markets and products
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a client-facing role within a busy environment
- Sales skills or experience
- Prior knowledge of Ebury's specific product offerings
