About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic relationship management and consultative services to clients to quantify, mitigate, and transfer risk.
  • Execute the placement of casualty lines of business for both primary and excess policies.
  • Retain existing book of business and develop strengthened client relationships through strategic planning.
  • Design, prepare, and negotiate fee and compensation agreements.
  • Create project risk profiles and prepare marketing materials for the underwriting and placement of casualty coverages.
  • Drive the renewal process and the Request for Proposal (RFP) response process.
  • Manage large property and Master Builders Risk programs along with complex project coverage.
  • Build and develop market relationships in collaboration with broking and sales teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience in a client-facing role.
  • 8-10 years of Casualty lines broking experience.
  • Deep industry knowledge in Construction and Real Estate.
  • Valid Insurance P&C License.
  • Proven experience with management and technical oversight of Large MBR programs and complex property schedules.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to oversee large, multi-dimensional projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
