Senior Claims Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the claims shared mailbox on a daily basis
• Review, reconcile, and process new claim notifications, updates, invoices, and monthly bordereaux for various Coverholders and TPAs
• Ensure all claims are correctly attributed to the proper parties and year of account
• Review and maintain all reserves and fees accurately
• Communicate with Coverholders and TPAs to verify and obtain necessary information
• Manage and process claims for Lloyd’s of London and Company Markets using CLASS or Brokasure via Velonetic/XIS systems
• Update and maintain the claims tracker daily by checking the IMR
• File and manage all necessary documentation and data entry
• Provide support and assistance to the wider claims team to ensure timely completion of work

Requirements

• 2-5 years of general insurance or reinsurance claims experience
• Strong knowledge of London Market procedures
• Excellent mathematical and administrative skills
• Strong spreadsheet skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Xchanging applications
