Senior Claims Representative, AGL

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle Auto, General & Liability claims promptly and equitably
• Review claim and policy information to determine coverage and liability exposure
• Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties to gather facts
• Prepare investigation, settlement, denial, and reserve reports
• Set reserves within authority limits and recommend reserve changes as needed
• Communicate claim status and recommendations with the Team Leader
• Obtain releases, proofs of loss, and compensation agreements and issue claim payments

Requirements

• 5+ years of claims handling experience in Auto & General Liability
• Strong knowledge of coverages, legal principles, and claims best practices
• State adjuster’s license required; resident or designated home state license preferred for field adjusters
• Experience in a TPA environment strongly preferred
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage claims with strong customer service and account management focus
