Senior Claims Representative, AGL

Responsibilities

• Investigate and settle Auto, General & Liability (AGL) claims promptly and equitably.
• Review claim and policy information to determine the extent of the company's obligation to the insured.
• Conduct interviews and obtain statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, and attorneys.
• Evaluate facts to determine liability and prepare detailed investigation reports.
• Set and manage reserves within established authority limits.
• Prepare and submit reports on unusual or undesirable exposures to the Team Leader.
• Obtain necessary releases, proofs of loss, or compensation agreements to finalize settlements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of claims handling experience in Auto and General Liability.
• Valid state adjuster's license (or ability to obtain one; ESIS provides support for licensing exams).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to provide superior customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a Third Party Administrator (TPA) environment.
• Deep knowledge of auto liability cost containment programs.
• Strong understanding of applicable legal principles and insurance coverages.
