Senior Claims Examiner, Liability

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of liability claims across Casualty (including general, product, and specialty lines like LifeSciences) and Financial Lines.
• Oversee the end-to-end claims process from initial notification through to final resolution.
• Apply sound judgement to manage claims proactively and in accordance with best practice standards.
• Maintain accurate financial reserves for all assigned claims.
• Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including insureds, brokers, and counsel.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience handling liability claims, specifically within Casualty and/or Financial Lines.
• Tertiary qualification; a Law degree is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with confidence alongside brokers, legal counsel, and internal teams.
• A practical, common-sense approach with a genuine curiosity to learn and grow.
