Senior Civil/Architectural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the technical execution and supervision of residential villa and infrastructure projects.
• Provide senior-level site supervision for architectural works, including landscaping interfaces and external works.
• Review and ensure compliance with IFC drawings, architectural specifications, and authority standards.
• Monitor contractor activities, assess work quality, and report non-conformances (NCRs).
• Review contractor submissions such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and O&M manuals.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works align with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, authorities, utilities, and consultants to facilitate project execution.
• Implement and enforce HSE requirements, safe working practices, and environmental controls.
• Support project controls, including progress tracking, reporting, and coordination meetings.
• Assist in handover, snagging, final inspections, and monitoring during the defects liability period.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction supervision experience in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE local regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale residential villa and infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to work on-site in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering field.
• Professional Engineering or Architectural registration in the UAE.
• Previous experience with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) projects.
