Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular surveillance of project works across roadway, services, stormwater, and earthworks packages
• Complete and file detailed photographic and written records for all surveillance activities
• Monitor and report on workplace health and safety compliance and environmental impacts
• Attend Hold and Witness Points and manage resulting outcomes
• Conduct or attend audits on the Builder’s onsite and offsite works
• Review construction documentation, NCR dispositions, and Quality Management records
• Undertake Process Control Reviews (PCRs) and participate in completion processes
• Review as-built records and attend defect walks to verify closure
• Support the CV Construction Zone Lead

Requirements

• Recognised Engineering qualification (Civil or equivalent)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects (roads, tunnelling, or civil works)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Construction Verification (CV) role
• Demonstrated experience in roadway construction is essential

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on tunnel infrastructure projects
• Experience working within South Australian projects or regulatory environments
• Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications
