Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineer in responsible charge for land development projects from due diligence through construction
• Stamp and sign engineering plans and reports
• Lead and manage the entitlement process, including zoning review and coordination with jurisdictional agencies
• Perform and oversee civil design for site development, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management
• Provide technical leadership through redlining plans and reviewing calculations
• Maintain QA/QC responsibility and technical accuracy of project deliverables
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including planners, architects, and surveyors
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and design staff
• Assist with project scoping, budgeting, and contract management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 6+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in land development
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Nevada or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Advanced experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience serving in responsible charge for civil engineering projects
• Valid driver’s license and driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects through entitlements, design, and permitting
• Proven ability to lead design teams and mentor junior staff
• Strong knowledge of local zoning codes and municipal ordinances
