Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of works to ensure quality standards, budget, and environmental protection
• Identify, raise, and resolve engineering issues on site through liaison with design teams and clients
• Prepare technical queries, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS)
• Supervise health, safety, and welfare to ensure compliance with RAMS
• Manage quality assurance procedures, including inspection and test plans
• Manage and coordinate setting out by Site Engineers
• Maintain site records for progress, labour, plant, materials, and as-built data

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience with setting out
• Background in London Underground, highways, or heavy civil engineering infrastructure projects
• Experience covering utilities, deep drainage, or waterworks
