Senior Civil Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil engineering design projects from inception through to construction, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial standards.
• Scope and steer civil works including roads, drainage, utilities, and pavements, with a focus on buildability and safety.
• Manage professional relationships and ongoing communication with local clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to support their career development.
• Oversee design management, superintendency, and site surveillance for various project scales.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7-10 years of industry experience, specifically within the Property and Building space.
• Proven experience in an Australian consulting environment working on local medium/large building projects.
• Expertise in Australian Standards and Codes (e.g., AS/NZS 3500, NCC).
• Proficiency in design software such as 12D or Civil 3D.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia.
• Strong project management and client relationship management skills.
