Senior Civil Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide design review, verification, and project management for subdivisions, land development, and renewable energy infrastructure projects
• Liaise with clients to assess requirements and ensure performance standards are met
• Scope, review, and certify completed design and documentation
• Undertake engineering design within a computer-aided design environment
• Supervise designers, draftspersons, and CAD operators in the documentation of engineering designs
• Coordinate with external consultants including architects, surveyors, and hydraulic engineers
• Conduct site construction monitoring, contract administration, and site investigations
• Prepare construction specifications, technical reports, and "as constructed" information

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering suitable for full membership with Engineers Australia
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
• Minimum of 5 years of industry-relevant experience
• Experience working within Design and Construct environments
• High-level ability to solve complex engineering challenges and manage multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver technical arguments to clients
