Senior Chemist

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact technical projects from concept to commercialization
• Design and execute formulation and application testing projects
• Translate customer needs into innovative product solutions for lubricants and metalworking markets
• Generate data to demonstrate product performance against competitors
• Provide technical expertise to support sales growth and resolve customer inquiries
• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines
• Collaborate with regional and global R&D and Innovation Center teams
• Engage with industry stakeholders through conferences and market trend tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of laboratory experience with proven expertise in formulation and new product development
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional, multinational teams
• Ability to define project objectives, evaluate costs, and support implementation
• Ability to travel 10-20%, including potential international travel
