Senior Chemical Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform a total analysis package on a wide range of liquid petroleum/petrochemical products and liquid gases
• Conduct wet chemical and physical tests (cloud point, pour point, viscosity, hydroxyl number, etc.)
• Perform instrumental analyses using GC, GC/MS, HPLC, ICP, XRF, etc.
• Critically assess results and identify deviations or improvements in analytical methods and processes
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the quality system
• Act as a technical point of contact within the team
• Report on activities and ensure correct use of safety equipment, PPE, and measuring equipment
• Maintain contact with customers, terminals, installations, and customer service
• Support and guide junior analysts

Requirements

• Completed MLO or HLO education
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an analyst in the (petro)chemical industry
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation
• Possession of a driver's license (Category B) and own transportation
