Senior Chef de Partie - Pizza Chef

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pizzas according to established recipes and standards
• Oversee pizza dough preparation, including fermentation, proofing, and storage processes
• Manage daily operations of the pizza section to ensure smooth service during peak hours
• Train, mentor, and supervise Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and health regulations
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and ingredient freshness
• Manage stock levels, control food costs, and minimize wastage
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal updates

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience as a Pizza Chef
• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or Chef de Partie role
• Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, baking, and oven operations
• Proficiency in HACCP and international food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle flexible hours
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with artisan, Neapolitan, Roman, or specialty pizza styles
• Experience with menu development and recipe costing
• Knowledge of inventory control and food cost management
