Senior Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee production of large-scale events menus including plated, buffet, and reception styles
• Maintain consistency, presentation, and flavor across high-volume service
• Lead, mentor, and direct cooks and temporary staff during prep and service
• Participate in planning production schedules for multiple concurrent events
• Enforce strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
• Monitor waste, yields, and portion control during production
• Support front-of-house teams and respond to VIP requests

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of professional cooking experience with high-volume event expertise
• 3–5 years in a senior or leadership role within large kitchens
• Mastery of classic and modern cooking techniques
• Proven ability to execute service for 50 to 1,000+ guests
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or equivalent professional experience
