Senior Chef De Partie

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across various service styles, including café, afternoon tea, and high-end events
• Support the Sous and Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen and ensure smooth operations
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen brigade members
• Maintain strict food hygiene, safety, and personal hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety policies
• Manage waste control and ensure high standards for staff food
• Contribute to the development of seasonal menus and support diverse food offers including hospitality and conferences

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a busy professional kitchen
• Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or a Commis Chef ready to progress
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail and high culinary standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
• Experience in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-star restaurant is desirable
